by the Directorate for Research, Studies, Assessment and Statistics of Ministry of Health (Drees, Direction de la
recherche des études de l’évaluation et des
statistiques, Ministère chargé de la santé).

FNPS (Fédération Nationale de la Presse d’Information Spécialisée)
The FNPS represents and defends the rights of
the editors of 900 specialized publications. It is comprised of
representatives from seven unions, among them the Syndicat national de
la presse médicale et des professions de santé (SNPM,
which represents the editors of press for medical and health
professionals). The FNPS site furnishes an online directory of the
publications it represents; it can be searched by title or press
category. Also available online are numerous site addresses
(professional organizations, governmental offices and ministries, as
well as higher education and research institutions, leading press and
media organizations, financial partners and providers of services)...
Review of the economic and medical press, texts,
and decrees from the Journal officiel (contains official government
publications) concerning pharmaceutics, key figures for the industry...
Available at this site are recent issues and an
index for the issues dating back to 1993. There are also dossiers on
work by Nobel Prize winners, economic graphs and charts (Gross Domestic
Product, inflation..) by country or international comparison, a lexicon
of acronyms, dossiers on certain subjects (demographics, transition,
international trade...), current developments (new technologies, law on
the reduction of the official French workweek to 35 hours...), and exam
preparation.
The magazine La Recherche’s server contains full-text versions of certain articles from the current issue.
Research in nursing care: search by author,
keywords, or title of the article. All issues are online except those
from the last two years, for which summaries are available.
Relevé épidémiologique hebdomadaire (OMS)
The Weekly Epidemiological Record (WER) serves
as an essential instrument for the rapid and accurate dissemination of
epidemiological information on cases and outbreaks of diseases under
the International Health Regulations and on other communicable diseases
of public health importance, including emerging or re-emerging
infections.
SNPM (Syndicat National de la Presse Médicale et des Professions de Santé)
The SNPM represents publications available on a
subscription basis, with a minimum of four issues annually, and which
are geared exclusively for medical and pharmaceutical professionals as
well as other health professionals whose activity is subject to
official regulation.
